BANK

In the Banking sector the selection process completes within 6–7 months itself. It starts from the prelims exams, till the day you get your joining letter in hand. The entire process of conducting examination and interview is finished by the Banks within a maximum period of 7 months.

SSC

In the SSC, the selection process is a bit time taking. The SSC takes around 1–2 years in completion of all the exams from Tier 1 to Tier 3. After the declaration of results, a candidate has to wait for some more time until he gets his joining letter. Therefore, the selection process in SSC takes more time as compared to Bank.

The competition level in the Banking exams is moderate. Every year around 10–15 lakhs students fill the examination form for various banking exams like SBI, IBPS, RBI, etc. From these applied candidates, approximately 10–12 lakh students give the exam.
